München - Der Homerun-Rekordball von Barry Bonds hat für 752.467 Dollar den Besitzer gewechselt.

Das Geld ging an den 21-jährigen Matt Murphy, der den 756. Homerun-Ball von Bonds ergattert hatte.

"Es freut mich, dass ich damit Teil der Baseball-Geschichte bin", sagte der Student.

Experten hatten geschätzt, dass der Ball für etwa 500.000 Dollar versteigert werden würde.

Der Homerun-Ball Nummer 755 des San Francisco-Hitters war einem Mitbieter immerhin 186.750 Dollar wert.

Beide Käufer blieben anonym.
